Our Accommodation

Our Lodge comprises 11 rooms in the on-site accommodation wing, including kings, twins and bunks.
All rooms have their own private ensuite and are situated close to all the amenities.

Our Heritage

There has been a property located at Chestnut Hill from as early as the 1890s when Kallista was known as South Sassafras and was the holiday getaway destination of Melbourne's rich and famous.
Later, the Dandenongs became well known for it's abundance of fruit farms and the home of artists and writers of the age.
Chestnut Hill Lodge has a long and varied history and has always played its part in this wonderful Dandenong Ranges community.

We will be returning

We have just returned home after a wonderful weekend at Chestnut Hill Conference Centre with our craft group of 12 ladies. Our hosts Cathy and Rob were perfect hosts. Thanks heaps.  Meals were wholesome, homemade and plentiful.  The accommodation was fabulous..very relaxing. Value for money. Will be returning in the near future.

What an exceptional place!! If you need somewhere for a conference, retreat or perhaps a family reunion, this place is ideal. I have been holding a six day live in course training funeral celebrants since 2012, usually twice a year. Catherine and Robert, the hosts, could not make you more welcome. With 11 bedrooms (all with ensuites) they can accommodate up to 30 but mine is a maximum of 11, which means everyone has their own room and space. The meals are gourmet and plentiful, although my waistline does tend to expand further with each visit!  Cannot recommend this highly facility highly enough!!
