About

About Chestnut Hill Conference Lodge

Chestnut Hill Conference Lodge is beautifully situated on 6 acres of secluded gardens which are home to magnificent 100 year old trees and further surrounded by forests of mountain ash.

The facility offers great rates, great location and great food (and yes, great chocolate) all delivered in an intimate and friendly atmosphere.

The surrounding region is known for it's unique tourist attractions, great walks, quirky shops, bed and breakfast accommodation and array of restaurants, wineries and dining opportunities.

Just one hour's drive from Melbourne's CBD, Chestnut Hill Conference Lodge is a "hideaway in the hills", some 1400ft (426 Metres) above sea level. This means that the venue is comparatively cool in summer and invigoratingly crisp in winter, especially during occasional snow flurries.
A venue surrounded by impressive mountain ash forest, the contrast in the seasons offers its own special gifts; the vitality of summer, red and golden autumns, the flowers of spring and misty winter days.
The Lodge was built in 1977 as a Christian retreat centre and extended by a subsequent owner in 1999.
